This outdoor adventure package in based in Kampung Peta. You can travel to Johor and proceed from Kahang to arrive at Kampung Peta. Kampung Peta can be found on Google Maps.

TRANSPORTATION

If you don’t have transportation to get you from Kahang or Kluang to Kampung Peta, do let me know. What I will do is to arrange with our community guide to come out and fetch you from either of these 2 locations.

And then at the end of the trip you will be sent back.

You can also be dropped off in Mersing if you are planning an extended trip especially if you are a tourist visiting the country. This service is chargeable.

(1) What should I pack for a 3-day, 2-night trip to Endau Rompin?

Pack light but ensure you have the essentials. Bring comfortable hiking clothes, quick-dry shirts, and lightweight pants. A sturdy pair of hiking shoes with good grip is a must. Pack a waterproof jacket or poncho, as the weather can be unpredictable.

Don’t forget a small backpack for daily activities, a refillable water bottle, and insect repellent. A hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses will protect you from the sun. For the nights, bring a sleeping bag, torchlight or headlamp, and a power bank for your devices.

Include personal toiletries, a small first-aid kit, and snacks for extra energy. If you enjoy photography, a camera or phone with a waterproof case is handy

(2) What type of accommodation is provided during the trip?

During your 3-day, 2-night adventure in Endau Rompin, you’ll stay in comfortable glamping tents provided in Kampung Peta.

These tents offer a blend of luxury and nature, equipped with cozy bedding and essential amenities to ensure a restful night’s sleep amidst the rainforest.

The campsite is designed to provide a seamless experience with nature while maintaining comfort.

(3) Is the trip suitable for beginners or is it only for experienced hikers?

This trip is suitable for both beginners and experienced hikers. The trails vary in difficulty, offering a mix of easy to moderate hikes.

However, participants must be in good health and able to move unaided. If you’re new to hiking, don’t worry – our guides will ensure you are well-supported throughout the journey.

Experienced hikers will enjoy the adventure, while beginners will find it to be a rewarding and manageable challenge. Just make sure you’re physically prepared for the outdoors, and you’re good to go!

(4) When is the best time to go?

The best time to visit Endau Rompin is during the dry season, which typically runs from March to October. During these months, the weather is more predictable, and the trails are easier to navigate. You’ll also get to enjoy the waterfalls and rivers at their most scenic.

From November to February, the park could be closed due to poor weather conditions. The national park authorities will only issue entry permits once the situation is deemed safe
